Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using CommitGood ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use CommitGood. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Consumer Platform

CommitGood provides AI-powered travel planning through Amara, our travel concierge, group session tools for collaborative trip planning, and access to mission trip listings. A portion of affiliate booking commissions are donated to your selected charity.

Organization Platform

CommitGood offers a B2B SaaS platform for organizations to create, manage, and fill mission trips. Organizations can list public or private trips, manage participant applications, and receive payments via Stripe Connect.

AI Disclaimer

Amara provides travel recommendations only. All prices, availability, and details must be verified directly with providers before booking. CommitGood does not process travel payments or handle cancellations — all bookings occur on affiliate partner platforms.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

One Account Per User

Each individual may maintain only one personal account. Organizations may maintain one organization account per legal entity.

Subscription Tiers

CommitGood offers Free, Traveler ($9.99/month), and Explorer ($19.99/month) plans for consumers, and separate organization tiers. Features and usage limits differ by tier as described on our pricing page.

Amara Credits

AI interaction usage is counted against your monthly Amara Credits allowance. Additional credits may be purchased as Credit Packs. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle.

Billing & Renewals

Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date of your original purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings at any time.

Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Permitted Use

You may use CommitGood only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Platform in any way that could harm, disable, or impair the Platform or interfere with other users.

Prohibited Activities

You may not: (a) use the Platform for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform; (c) scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission; (d) transmit malware or harmful code; (e) impersonate any person or entity; or (f) post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content.

Organization Obligations

Organizations listing mission trips represent that all trip details are accurate, that they are legally authorized to organize such trips, and that participant funds will be used as described.

Payment Processing

Payments between participants and organizations are facilitated through Stripe Connect. By participating in payments, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Connected Accounts

Organizations must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payments. CommitGood is not responsible for delays, failures, or disputes arising from Stripe's payment processing.

Charitable Donations

CommitGood donates a portion of affiliate booking commissions to the charity selected by the booking user. These donations are facilitated by CommitGood and are not tax-deductible through CommitGood unless separately confirmed.

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of CommitGood Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

By submitting content to CommitGood (trip descriptions, reviews, profile information), you grant CommitGood a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.

Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about CommitGood may be used by us without any obligation to compensate you.

No Warranty

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. CommitGood does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Travel Disclaimer

CommitGood is a travel planning and discovery platform. We do not operate tours, flights, hotels, or mission trips. All travel arrangements are made directly with third-party providers. CommitGood is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of third-party services.

Cap on Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CommitGood's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CommitGood in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Exclusion of Damages

CommitGood shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or personal injury, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it in Account & Security settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid subscription fees.

By CommitGood

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State], United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Notification

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
